About Us
Formed in 2006, MYSU Company, LLC is a small independent publisher based in Arlington, Massachusetts USA. Being small and independent, we have complete creative and editorial control over the magazine. We are driven by the desire to produce a magazine like no other and to be worthy of a busy parent's time. The majority of our team are parents. Some even work free due to their dedication to the magazine's passion and mission.

Our History
SK Joun, a mother of two, founded the Parents for Parents™ magazine in 2006 after being frustrated by the lack of publications or resources that discussed parenting topics in depth in a language and format that she could easily understand and easily access. The existing magazines provided information in too general terms and expert books were too technical and too long! She found parents to be the best experts and the best resources, but could not find a forum where parents shared information in a collective manner attacking one topic at a time. She resigned from her corporate job of 15 years, started a publishing company, and created the Parents for Parents™ magazine!

About the Publisher — SK JounSK Joun
SK Joun is an author, a publisher and an entrepreneur. She earned her degree in sociology from Harvard University and received her MBA from Suffolk University. In 2006, she left her corporate job of 15 years in a Fortune 500 company to start her own business MYSU Company, LLC in order to publish a new parenting magazine Parents for Parents™. She has also authored a book titled Mother of Two's Guide to Sanity, which is available on Amazon.com and Target.com.

Her articles have appeared in publications such as the Women's Business and Boston Women's Journal. She is also a member of NAFE, Boston Women's Network, WILD Women Entrepreneurs, Downtown Women's Club, and Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce.

SK is very passionate about the issue of homeless families and created T-Shirts for a Cause where all net proceeds of the t-shirt sales go to support the One Family Scholars program that provides college scholarships and support for low-income, at risk or formerly homeless mothers to college to end the cycle of homeless.
